Eva was born and raised in Berlin, where she started studying Chemistry at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2017. She conducted her bachelor thesis in the field of bioorganic chemistry in the group of Oliver Seitz on developing a method for Wittig-ligation on DNA. Since then she worked as a student co-worker in the Seitz group. In her master studies she further focused on organic chemistry. Currently she is conducting a research project with the Dumele group on chiral macrocycles.
