Joël Schlecht
Joël started studying chemistry at the University of Freiburg/ Germany in 2017 and he relocated to Berlin one year later to continue his studies at Humboldt University. He joined the DumeleLab for his Bachelor thesis with focus on chiral Covalent Organic Framework and subsequently worked in the lab of Tanja Junkers at Monash University Melbourne (Australia). In 2023, he returned to Berlin to work on his Master thesis in the Dumele group. After his graduation, Joel remained affiliated with the DumeleLab and worked as visiting scientist at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, Japan, with Prof. Akimitsu Narita. After his return in fall 2024, he joined the DumeleLab for this PhD thesis at the University of Freiburg.
