Dr. Philipp Seitz
Philipp studied Chemistry at the University of Freiburg, where he completed his bachelor´s thesis in 2018 in the research group of Birgit Esser. During his master´s program, he joined the research group of Timothy Swager at MIT as a visiting researcher, working on iptycene-based benzene sensors. In 2022, he began his PhD in Birgit Esser´s group at Ulm University, where his research focused on chiral nanohoops and their chiroptical properties. He completed his PhD in 2026 with summa cum laude.
