After a trainee program as a laboratory chemist and three years of experience in the chemical industry, Sebastian studied Chemistry at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. During his Bachelor studies, he worked as a student assistant in the Hybride Devices group of Prof. E. List, where he also did his bachelor thesis on 2D material transistors. After an exchange semester at the University of Melbourne, he joined the DumeleLab for his Master’s thesis and subsequently entered the PhD program at Humboldt University. He works on the synthesis of 2D redox-active covalent organic frameworks.
